Betsy Clarke began her professional career on Wall Street, where she earned her Series 7 and Series 63 licenses. As a means of aligning her desire and her longing for contribution in the area of human development, she moved into the corporate training and development industry. It was here, in roles of trainer and salesperson that she established herself as both a strong individual performer and leader. Her ability to create and sustain relationships with clients, colleagues and staff trainers was something she did naturally and effectively.
Next, Betsy sought out to increase her challenge, growth and effectiveness by moving into the burgeoning cable television industry. After establishing herself with newcomers, Speedvision and Outdoor Life Networks, Betsy was soon sought out by media giants like Fox News and Bloomberg to startup and launch their new cable networks in affiliate sales. Each network called on Betsy’s ability to get the job done; creating and managing relationships in order to increase subscriber base.
With an intention to bring a broader perspective to her career and life, she pursued a lifelong dream of traveling the world, visiting over 15 countries in six months, learning about different cultures and lifestyles which took her to the next level of personal exploration and understanding. Returning with a deeper and clearer sense of purpose and desire to contribute to people’s quality of life and the importance of self fulfillment, Betsy set out to further develop her own education, culminating in certifications both as a life coach and interfaith minister.
Today,
Betsy works with people from many different walks of life.
From the corporate executive who wants to be clear about his
communication style and how he is being received, to the individual who would
like to bring work/life balance to minimize stress, or another who would like
some tools to understand how to experience more joy in their life.
Betsy
also has the pleasure of creating ceremonies for those who are entering the
next phase of their lives, whether that be marriage, a new baby or memorial
service. Betsy is an ordained
interfaith minister, who graduated from One Spirit Interfaith Seminary.
She is also an affiliated minister at Sacred Center New York and is a member of the singing ensemble, OneVoice. She teaches classes on
various spiritual principles, life skills, and compassionate communication.
